I haven’t tightened up the two pieces of copper wire holding it to the board so they show in the photo… when tight they will be tucked under the folds in the handle. The lovely drape off the side doesn’t show to well in this photo either… it reminds me of the way syrup sheets off a spoon at a certain point during the cook. I was thinking of the beauty of urchins when decorating the handle! I’m showing in studio #4 @ Westport Fall Colours Studio Tour this weekend with Shirley Mancino!
This wonderful Druzy is a whopping 51 carats! Set on copper and bronze textured back plate with rivets. I’m making a chain but that will be a while yet!
